Maddalena Casulana

We are delighted to make available Maddalena Casulana’s Primo libro de madrigali a cinque voci (Venice: Gardano, 1583) in an exclusive edition by Professor Laurie Stras. Laurie was able to complete the edition after locating the Alto partbook, which went missing in the 1940s.  We offer each madrigal individually in PDF format together with a keyboard reduction for rehearsal, and a print edition of the entire book.  There is a 20% discount on the print book until 31 March 2023.
